As a team from Irondequoit, New York, a suburb of Rochester, the Eastridge Robotics team is excited to make a name for themselves in this competition. Their main sponsor, Bausch & Lomb, consists of engineers mentoring the student members in multiple sub teams. They are also sponsored by Salvatore's.
There are roughly 40 students from Eastridge High School and three teachers from Eastridge's technology department. They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 8:80pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Bausch & Lomb's 10,000 square foot work space, set up specifically for the FIRST experience.
